I don’t know how far Stanly would fare at this season’s competition. However, I do hope that he can create a new trend for the Iban music industry. Errr… can he sing Iban songs???

This is my comment for his performance tonight and how I compare him against the rest of the students.

Faisal - It was a safe song/performance by him. I agree 100% with Ogy.

Toi - He is performing for the camera, the music is hot but he is not. Ogy said he gave only 50% on the performance. Ning said he have facial problem.

Alif - If only I can be there in the studio.. but from my TV screen, this is again another dead performance. I guess I watched too much American Idol. Ogy said he is afraid and must understand the function of a performance. Ning said he have tempo problem and have to forget about his problems. Adlin said he have no problem with his performance and looks like he have recorded hundreds of album and looks relax.

Saida - Singing Datuk Siti’s song is a great mistake because we are used to hear her sing.. and tonight.. hmmmm we missed that pitch by Siti. And the duet with Noraniza Idris only makes me more confuse.. which vocal to pay attention to. Why were the first three students did not have the chance to do a duet?

Ogy said lucky there is Noraniza Idris and Saida needs to ask herself what kind of performer she wants to be. Ning feels her dynamic is not there. Adlin said she is not ‘open’ in her performance.

Stanly - A good video clip! A little pitchy there Stanly but you are able to feel that song. Ogy said he lost all his energy and seem to be lost. Ning said he have the feel but lost his focus and please understand your voice. Adlin said the performance is like mat rempit.

Rina - The veteran is the best performer so far tonight. Ogy said she is not performing for a concert but a lounge. Ning said her tempo is better than previous week but her tone is still missing. Adlin said she is a bit pitchy this week.

Nadia - Ghee.. I thought my TV was faulty until I see the “Tekan R” is still in color. Ogy said sometimes her action kill the beauty of the song. Ning said the performance was interesting. Adlin said she is a good dancer.

Nubhan - Rasuah!!!!!!!!!! Let us hear what Ogy have to say about the red rose. Ogy said “fresh flower, please”. Ning said he have a good beginning but towards the end its a bit pitchy. Adlin said he looks like ‘habis bateri’.

Riz - So far this is the best performance tonight. Bravo Riz! Ogy said it was an energetic performance. Ning said the performance was good and well controlled. Check on the breathing. Adlin said this is it!

Stacy - She have a good vocal but I just can’t get the feel of the song. Probably it is a new song. Well, towards the end.. the climax of the song was well delivered. Excellent! Ogy said she was not consistent in expressing the feel of the song. Ning said it was a bit pitchy and she tend to swallow her words. Adlin said she failed to synchronize the song with her body language.

Who is leaving?
