Today, I’ll share with you guys on how I cook my soto (sort of larr). Since, I am so free today (after reading my daily dose of national news on the Star), I decided to cook soto for the kids.
Ingredients:
1 packet of bee hoon
1 packet of fish ball
100 g of pork meat
2 cubes of Maggi Stock
2 tsp of salt
2 tsp black pepper
1 bowl of taugeh
5 pieces of ginger
Red onion
Garlic
Instruction:
Soak the bee hoon in clean cold water for about an hour (until it is soft).

Fried the red onion and garlic until it turn brown.
Boil the fish ball, pork meat and ginger (to taste). Add the salt and pepper and the fried onion and garlic.

Serve it with fresh taugeh.

And chakoi..

And… here is my version of soto (with extended ginger).
