Ethnic cuisine - Bamboo shoot with Chilli

Young bamboo shoot or tubu in the Iban language is one of the popular cuisine among the Iban families. Yesterday we had it for dinner. It is a simple and fast menu to cook. All you need is boil the bamboo shoot first, then drain the water away.

You may fried it with chilli, garlic, red onion, a little soya sauce, dried anchovies, black pepper and a little bit of water.

Serve it while it is still hot.
