The Sun died on 7th February

While most Chinese celebrates the New Year, somewhere down in the Southern Hemisphere, the earth is experiencing an annular solar eclipse.
What is an annular solar eclipse?
An annular eclipse occurs when the Sun and Moon are exactly in line, but the apparent size of the Moon is smaller than that of the Sun. Hence the Sun appears as a very bright ring, or annulus, surrounding the outline of the Moon.
Can we experience it in Miri?
No. The closer partial eclipse will be onĀ 22nd July 2009.

Wow is it? Tomorrow is the day of the black sun. I wish I will able to view it life. I saw once when I was little.
